My Current Beauty Empties

Over the past few months I've been trying to completely finish beauty products before buying more, and if you caught my recent Shop My Beauty/Makeup Collection post a few weeks ago, then you know I've been focusing on using and finishing products that I already have lying around. So today I am showing you my Current Beauty Empties and also give you my quick thoughts on each product.
Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional Face Primer Balm, this is one of my all time favorite face primers well worth the price, as you can see I went through one full sized container this past few months plus a few baby samples. This stuff is amazing for my combination skin, it helps my makeup apply so smoothly that no other primer I've tried (high end or drugstore) can compare.

Josie Maran Argan Hair Serum was a great product but I was not overly impressed. Full size this product retails for about $30 so I think I had very high expectations (although I had a small sample size), overall it's a great hair serum that helped my dry and frizzy hair but it is not something I plan to purchase again because I've tried drugstore hair serums that work just as well.

Josie Maran Pure Argan Oil is actually something I really like, I use this on my skin, hair, and cuticles and it's not as greasy as other oil based products. It did help relieve dry cuticles (especially overnight) and also great for split ends (more than the Hair Serum), however I'm undecided whether I would fork over the money ($48 for full size); I do have 2 more bottles and will provide an update in the coming months.

Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover, I did a review on this remover 5 months ago and I have finally finished it. If you remember my review I wasn't impressed with this remover because it was very oily and didn't remove waterproof makeup as well as I had hoped. I do not plan on repurchasing this product.

ELF Cosmetics Daily Brush Cleaner, for only $3.00 I thought I would try this out but it was a complete fail! The purpose of this product is to do spot cleaning but this didn't do anything at all to quickly clean my brushes. It also smelled like really strong rubbing alcohol which was a bug turn off! Although it was only $3.00 I will not repurchase this cleaner!

L'Oreal True Match Crayon Concealer, I really liked this concealer because it was a perfect match for my under-eye area, it blends perfectly, and covers blemishes and dark under-eye circles really well. My only complain with this product is that it can be very drying under the eye, especially if you haven't moisturized well enough. I haven't repurchased another and I may not because I prefer liquid concealer because my under-eye area can get quite dry at times.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, this is a small sample size which I enjoyed very much! I've used this primer potion before and it is great for making shadows last all day and give them vibrancy, but for the price I have found a few great drugstore alternatives (one of which is the Prestige Eyeshadow Primer).

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray, this product is amazing I cannot stress that enough because it keeps my makeup looking good all day and night by controlling the oil from my face. I have also purchased the DeSlick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray which works even better (review is coming soon).

Sephora Super Nourishing Lip Balm, for only $5.00 I have purchased this product over and over and I really like it. The texture is super smooth and not sticky, it is very hydrating, and helps with my chapped lips during the winter months but provides enough moisture through the Summer as well. I do plan on repurchasing this product.

Covergirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation, I love love love this foundation it applies so smoothly, evenly, and looks simply amazing. The texture blends perfectly and makes my skin look airbrushed, my only complain is finding a good matching shade, the container makes it hard to actually see the true color which is a bummer. The color I picked was #325 was a bit too pink for me, I made it work during the Summer months but I wish I could have picked a more yellow toned color for my skin. I do plan on repurchasing but will look for swatches online first in hopes of finding a perfect match.

L'Oreal Magic Smooth Souffle Foundation, same experience with this product as the Covergirl foundation, this foundation was amazing I loved how easily it blended into my skin. It also looked very airbrushed and flawless but again I had problems picking out a color that matched me, I had color #520 which was way too dark for me, I made it work during the Summer but not at all during this winter time since I'm lighter.

L'Oreal Youth Code Day/Night Cream, this product is amazing because it provides so much hydration and moisture to my face, I actually reviewed it last year and although I try many products I do always go back to what I love and this is one of the products.

So there you have it my current beauty empties! I feel so good finishing beauty products that I own and can't wait to finish more! Have you tried any of the products I've mentioned above? Have you hit pan or finished on any products recently?
