My Blogging Goals For 2014

Please hold on as I become a little bit corny for a minute.... First of all I started this blog in October 2011 not knowing how amazing and supportive the beauty community really is. Over the past 2 years I've embraced my love for beauty and I have been more than amazed at how many of you enjoy bargain shopping as much as I do! I wish I could go makeup and bargain shopping with all of you...we'd have such a blast!! Anyways, I really want to thank you all for the support and kindness you've showered me with throughout my blogging adventures!

For the past 2 years I had a few goals and milestones I was hoping to reach, even hoping I could work with certain companies, or trying out certain new products products. I accomplished many and didn't reach a few, but I know that 2014 is going to be amazing simply because I have a lot planned for the new year and today I am excited to share with you My Blogging Goals For 2014. In no particular order:
[ ] Comment more/visit more blogs -- I used to have a lot more time on my hands so I would literally comment on hundreds of blogs a night for the 1st year of my blogging adventures. For 2014 one of my goals is to comment on more blogs that I love and hopefully find/visit new blogs!

[ ] Incorporate more lifestyle and fashion posts -- I am hoping to do more outfit posts for this year, aside from beauty I love fashion as well so I really want to get back into including some sort of style posts on my site. Also, many of you have mentioned that you would love to see more lifestyle posts so I will definitely try to do more variety this year!

[ ] Publish once a day -- If you've been a subscriber from day 1 then you'd know that I have done this before, actually publish multiple posts a day, but life get busy at times with work, school, family, etc. I will try to post at least once a day, whether it's a in depth or first impressions review, deals/sales, an outfit of the day, etc etc etc...

[ ] Re-design my site -- I would love to make my site more user friendly or more organized, maybe even more professional looking; not quite sure how I want to design it....and maybe I can get a few ideas from you all.

[ ] Organize my vanity -- My beauty collection is getting a bit out of control, between products I've purchased, received as PR samples, or gifts, I really want to get organized so I can use all the products and offer more reviews and more first impressions for you all!

[ ] Invest in a better camera -- I really want to invest in a better quality camera, right now I take all my pictures with my iPhone so I would love to give you all better quality images and hopefully also do YouTube videos once I invest in a better camera! Do you have any camera suggestions?

So there you have it, My Blogging Goals For 2014!! Do you have any blogging goals that you're hoping and looking forward to completing this year? I've love to know some of you goals!

  5. Very good goals - I am trying to post more and visit more blogs, and re-design my blog too. I recommend the Canon t4i. It's a great camera! A good point-and-shoot that is much more budget-friendly is the Canon Powershot S95. It takes good video too.
