Save Our Sweaters With The Lilly Brush

Let me first just say that the following product has to be one of the most genius products to ever be invented and that everyone needs to have one!  It is called the Lilly Brush which is basically a brush that helps de-pill sweaters and other cotton, wool, and cashmere products.

This brush is perfect for removing pet hair, lint, and tiny fabric build up that makes a sweater look old (you know we all have those types of sweaters!).  The product tag line is "Save Our Sweaters" which couldn't be more perfect, I've had to throw out so many sweaters because the fabric looks old but with this brush I've been able to salvage quite a few old sweaters that now look like new!
Above is one of my favorite sweaters, but if you carefully look at the Before picture you can see the fabric is not smooth and its fibers are fluffy and old looking, well after using the Lilly Brush take a look at the After picture, the fibers look a lot newer, more smooth and not fluffy at all!
I highly recommend this product to anyone whether you have pets, or remove lint from clothing/pillows/blankets, etc, or want to save any of your old sweaters then this is the perfect product for you! If you are interested in the Lilly Brush, you can click here which will take you to the company's site, the brush comes in either red or black and it retails for $12.95.

Have you tried the Lilly Brush? What do you think of it? I love how it is portable and compact so I can bring it along with me everywhere I go! How do you remove pet hair and/or lint from your clothes & furniture?

e.l.f. Essential Mechanical Eyelash Curler

I've been using the e.l.f. Essential Mechanical Eyelash Curler for quite some time now, and although I was ready to review it upon first trying it, I waited several months because I wanted to see if my experience changed as I got used to the product.  I say that because I don't have much experience with eye lash curlers, I am somewhat a beginner, and in fact this has been the 2nd eye lash curler I have ever used, the 1st was a Revlon curler (I believe) it was over 10 years ago!
The e.l.f. Essential Mechanical Eyelash Curler feels like very sturdy material, and what I like about it is that the little pad has been able to last and look perfectly the same even after using it for several months (without having to replace it).  My lashes or eyelid skin never once got pinched or tugged on, I believe it is because the top lid is not sharp, it's dull which is perfect for easy application. I also love the grip handle that it comes with, my fingers never once slipped or budged as I was curling my lashes.
As awesome as those PROS above were...I have to tell you I will not be repurchasing this curler simply because it did nothing to my lashes, it just didn't curl any of my lashes, which was very disappointing.  Granted I do love e.l.f Cosmetics and this curler was only $1.00 but there's no point in using a curler that doesn't curl.

If any of you have any recommendations on drugstore (or even high end) eyelash curlers I would love to know! Have any of you ever used the e.l.f. Essential Mechanical Eyelash Curler? What do you think about it?  To check out this curler through the e.l.f. site, please click here.

Benefit Cosmetics Fakeup Launch Party

I recently had the opportunity to attend a Benefit Cosmetics Launch Party in San Francisco, where they showcased their new product called Fakeup Crease Control Hydrating Concealer.
The launch party had makeup artists, champagne, cupcakes, a fun mystery game, and a photo booth, it was simply amazing!  The whole store set up was so incredibly adorable, and that's one thing I love about Benefit Cosmetics is their packaging and overall girlyness of their products!
Lisa, the Benefit Cosmetics store manager did my makeup, so I was able to test out the new concealer, along with other favorites such as They're Real Mascara, Hello Flawless Powder, and Girl Meets Pearl Luminizer.
I had a blast and attending this event has just confirmed that Benefit Cosmetics is my favorite cosmetics splurge addiction....At the end of the night we were given a super cute makeup bag from Benefit Cosmetics, which included 2 full sized Fakeup Crease Control Hydrating Concealer , and a sample size of the Benefit Pore Balm (which I have already been testing out for a few weeks when i purchased the full size at Sephora).
Stay tuned for a product review of the Fakeup Crease Control Hydrating Concealer  I also have the Porefessional Balm product review and the boi-ing concealer review, which I've also been testing out for the past several weeks, those reviews are coming soon, so make sure to check them out!  To visit the Benefit Cosmetics site to view all their super cute and awesome products click here.
