Simple 80's Makeup Halloween Look + $100 Sephora Gift Card Giveaway

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and today this exciting blog post is a collaboration with Coupons.com and a few other lovely bloggers to create a fun Halloween makeup look.  I did initially have a difficult time trying to come up with a look simply because I am not really good at creating makeup looks outside of a neutral eye, but I wanted to have a little bit of fun so I created a simple 80's makeup Halloween look.

I was an 80's baby (too young to wear makeup during that era) but from seeing old movies and pictures online I did notice the women wore super bright colors on their lids and they were not blended in at all, but it just looked so rock n roll and just fun!  In addition, the ladies packed on the bright pink blush along with bright pink lipstick, so I wanted to recreate that!
Before starting this look I needed to purchase a few items so I visited the ELF site and bought the ELF HD Lifting Concealer in “Fair” also the ELF Blush in “Pink Passion” and ELF Cream Blush in “Seductress.”  I did a search online for coupon codes and luckily coupons.com had a 50% off coupon code so I scored a good deal on my ELF purchase.

Below is a complete list of all the items I used for my makeup look:
(Eyes)
NYX Eyeshadow Trio in “Serengeti”
NYX Eyeshadow Trio in “Hot Pink”
Revlon Matte Eyeshadow in “Venetian Blue”
Wet N Wild Eyeshadow Trio in “Spoiled Brat”
Coastal Scents Liquid Eyeliner in “Jet”
Benefit They’re Real Mascara

(Face)
Ponds Luminous Finish BB+ Cream in “Light”
ELF HD Lifting Concealer in “Fair”
ELF Blush in “Pink Passion”
ELF Cream Blush in “Seductress”

(Lips)
Milani Lipstick in “Rose Hip”
80's Makeup Halloween
So there you have it, my Simple 80's Makeup Halloween Look, a beginner can do this simple look because the shadows don’t have to be blended in just applied in fun patterns like they did in the 80’s! I did a simple thin cat eye line nothing too dramatic since they didn't do cat eyes back in the 80's (at least not as dramatic as now days).  In addition, I packaged on the blush on the hollows of my cheeks again without blending in too much since the 80's was all about bright fun makeup like you would see in movies and concerts.

The folks at coupons.com were kind enough to provide a gift card to me so I can create this look and they have kindly offered to host this giveaway for you all -- how awesome is that? 2. I was in high school in the 80's. I remember mascara in fun colors like blue and purple being in fashion. That was a lot of fun. Now I'm thinking of checking Sephora to see if they carry any colored mascara cause I would definitely wear it again.
