My 1st Lush Cosmetics Visit & Purchase

I recently visited Lush Cosmetics for the first time with 2 of my favorite beauty bloggers Krystal (from BeautyByKrystal) and Tina (from OfficialStinaD).  I didn't know what to expect when I walked into the store, but I knew I wanted to buy at least 1 item just to try the brand.
This particular store was pretty small, but it had a lot of products.  I felt a little bit overwhelming because I didn't really know what to get, simply because there were so many cute and awesome products! I was amazed at all the pretty colors that a lot of these products were, I felt like I was in a candy store!
I decided to go with the bubble gum lip scrub, it was a bit pricey at $9.95 for a small jar, but I wanted to see what all the hype was about since so many bloggers and Youtubers rave about it.  I will see how it compares to my Elf Lip Scrub which I purchased for $3.00 (you can find my review here)!
I am excited to try the lip scrub, but also to go back to Lush and try a few other body/hand products! But I do need to make sure I don't get addicted to shopping there, because their prices are a bit expensive for my pocket book!

Have you ever purchased anything from Lush cosmetics? Have you tried their bubblegum lip scrub? What is your favorite Lush product?

  1. I've used the lip scrubs but I really don't think it's their standout product.

The massage bars are truly unique to them, and come in a lot of lovely scents. I also like the body lotions and hand creams.

The solid shampoos are wonderful, but skip them if you dye your hair - pretty much all of them will strip color. I never cared for the solid conditioner, and truly all of their conditioners are too light for my unruly hair.

The bath bombs and bubble bars are nice, but I don't take many baths so they tend to lose scent before I get around to using them, lol. Not LUSH's fault.

    1. Hi Liz, thanks for the recommendations, I am definitely interested in getting other products!! I was wondering how the solid shampoos would work since I've never tried anything like that before, that might be the next thing I try from Lush! Their bath bombs looked super cute but i dont take baths so that's out lol
