Kelapo Coconut Oil

If you don't already know, coconut oil is very good for our body, hair, and skin as well. I not only love the way coconut smells, but I love the way it makes my hair and skin feel!  So I was very excited when I was introduced to Kelapo Coconut Oil, not only can it be used to cook, but it can also be used on the body and particularly hair.

I received a few sample packets of the Kelapo Coconut Oil, which I tested on my hair. I washed my hair, and as a leave in conditioner, I placed a small amount of the Kelapo Coconut Oil on my hands, rubbed them together and smoothed a tiny amount all over my hair, then I slept with a hair cap.  I found that by doing this at night time, the Kelapo Coconut Oil made my hair very smooth and shiny  by morning time.
I have somewhat frizzy hair at times, and I noticed after using this product my frizzy hair and fly-a-ways diminished significantly!  I also tried using this as a wash-out conditioner, in the shower left it in my hair for a few minutes then washed it out, it also had the same effect, made my hair feel super smooth and shiny!

The texture of the Kelapo Coconut Oil is thick and obviously oily, so one recommendation is to not use that much, a little bit of this product does go a long way.  Initially I used too much which made my hair look and feel greasy; you really just have to play around with coconut oil so you get a feel as to how much or how little to use.  Also, this particular coconut oil doesn't have a strong coconut scent it's very subtle. The awesome thing about it is that this particular coconut oil is organic and cold pressed which means that there is nothing added to it.
The Kelapo Coconut Oil price ranges depending on how big or small you want the jar, you can take a look at their selection by clicking here.  As I stated earlier I did not test this out as a cooking oil, but I really liked using it as a hair conditioner.

Have you ever used Kelapo Coconut Oil or any product similar to it? Let me know what you used coconut oil for and what benefits you've found that the oil has.
