First Impressions: ELF Studio Line New Lip Exfoliator

I've always known that exfoliating is a very important step in skincare that is why I exfoliate my face but also my body, but I guess I never thought to exfoliate my lips.  I've been using the New ELF Studio Line Lip Exfoliator for about 2 weeks and all I can say is "Why haven't I been exfoliating my lips all these years?"

On the ELF site, it states that "this lip exfoliator treats and smoothes lips for a conditioned and revitalized feel," and I couldn't agree more! For the short period of time that I've been using this product, my lips have felt its smoothest that they've ever been, I honestly don't remember the last time my lips were this soft and smooth.  I was starting to get dry cracked lips, I think because of the weather change, and since using this scrub, my lips are no longer crackly looking! My lipstick has been applying so smoothly lately, and that's because this exfoliator has created a smooth surface (my lips) for any lipstick to glide on...I am simply amazed!
How To Use:
1) Make sure your lips are clean with no product on it
2) Dampen your lips with a tiny bit of water.
3) Gently massage the exfoliator (straight from the container) onto your damp lips in a circular motion..
4) I suggest doing this for about 30 seconds to a minute.
5) Get a damp cotton ball/cotton pad, and gently wipe away the scrub from your lips.
5) Put on some sort of lip moisturizer/lip balm to condition your lips.
I've only been doing this at night time, so my lips have a chance to condition over night, you want to put some sort of lip balm on your lips because it's very similar to scrubbing your face -- generally once you're done scrubbing your face you put moisturizer on your face right?  I've been using the ELF Studio Line Lip Exfoliator every night for about 2 weeks, I haven't had any negative reaction to the product, in fact my lips have been looking a lot more youthful and so much smoother.

The product smells and tastes like sugar; the scrub particles are not extremely rough especially since you're gently scrubbing your lips, there's no way you can damage your lips unless you're forcefully scrubbing away. The lip exfoliator is infused with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape, and Jojoba Oil, all of which are perfect ingredients to nourish your lips as you scrub away dead skin cells!
I would highly recommend this product, it made the world of a difference on my lips and I am certain it will for your lips as well! This product can be purchased on the ELF site, by clicking here.  I am not certain if this is available at Target, since I haven't seen it at mine.  It does retail for $3.00, which is a steal, this is why the next time I make another Elf order I will be sure to stock up on this product!

Have you tried the new ELF Studio Line Lip Exfoliator? What do you think about it? Are there any other budget-friendly lip scrubs you've tried that you'd like to recommend?
