I never realized that
having good quality hair brushes made a difference in how your hair looks. Throughout my entire life, I’ve only owned
very “cheap” and inexpensive hair brushes; you know the plastic ones you can buy
at the Dollar Tree or Wal-Mart, usually priced less than $5.00. Well I recently
had the opportunity to try out two great quality brushes, and I wanted to share
with you my opinion on them.
The first brush I received
and tried out is the Spornette DeVille Boar Bristle Paddle Brush, which retails
for $23.32. I have to admit when I first
saw the price of this brush I was a little hesitant because it’s basically 5 times the price of my usual plastic brush, however upon trying the brush I can
honestly say the price is so worth it.
The bristles on this brush literally work wonders; this brush has
actually been making my hair super soft and shiny, which I never knew a brush
could actually do that. The bristles are
sturdy yet not too hard and rough, which makes brushing your hair a breeze
because it does not pull or tug on any strands.
The second brush I’ve been
using is the Spornette Italian Basic Boar Bristles Wood Handle Rounder Hair Brush, which retails for $28.00. The
bristles on this brush are a little bit more sturdy and firm, so I find that this
brush works great when straightening (blow-drying) my hair, but also great in
providing a little extra volume. I find
that this brush also makes my hair super shiny and soft so I love using this
when I put my hair up in a ponytail and I need the top of my hair to be sleek
and smooth.
I love how these brushes
make my hair look and feel and quite honestly no other brush can compare. I
also love what the body of the brushes are made of which is actual
hardwood. The handles are non-slip, so
even if you have product on your hands that hardwood makes it easy to get a
good firm grip. I would highly recommend
you purchase at least 1 good quality brush in your lifetime, because you will
truly see a difference; these brushes both are wonderful for detangling, for
proving shine, volume, and smoothness all at the same time!
So where can you purchase
these brushes? Well I was recently
introduced to a web-based beauty supply store called BigDaddyBeauty.com, which
offers an assortment of beauty, skincare, and haircare products for very
affordable prices. They offer
professional products such as these great high quality brushes, which you would
normally not find in an actual drugstore.
The also offer common brands such as China Glaze, Macadamia, Tweezerman,
and much more, for reasonable prices.
If you are interested in
checking out BigDaddyBeauty.com I would highly suggest checking out their
clearance section which offers products priced as low as .99 cents
(AMAZING)! Do you own any professional
high quality brushes? What do you think about them? Have you heard and/or tried
Spornette hair brushes before?
