Guest Post: Dress Stylish on a Budget

Check out the lovely Desiree who will show you how to dress stylish on a budget!

Here's a great outfit on a great budget. Most of my shopping takes place in thrift shops and believe me when I say, it's better than retail shopping. Here I show how easy it is to be versatile and affordable with outfits by just changing one item (the top).

Items used:

Shirt 1: Lucky Brand $7 (purchased at Goodwill)
Shirt 2: Rugby by Ralph Lauren (purchased at Goodwill)
Pants: Gap $10 (Purchased at Salvation Army)
Shoes: Madden Girl $25 (Purchased at Marshall's)

As you may have guessed my name is Desiree. I'm currently a student at F.I.T. (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York City studying Advertising and Marketing. I created my blog to share a personal view of fashion and culture with readers. Thank you Desiree for such an awesome outfit, you’ve definitely given me some ideas for the Summer and I will need to hit up my local Goodwill and Marshall's for some stylish new gear!

    1. Hi Jessica, it is such a cute outfit, I really need to check out my local thrift shops and see what goodies I can find!

  2. Love the Outfits! Those shoes are so cute! Would somebody tell me what thrift shops are? :)

    1. Hi Janine, thrift shops are stores where usually clothes are donated to. A lot of times actual stores will donate clothes, purses, shoes, accessories to thrift shops, who will then sell them for really cheap prices! Granted yes majority of their stuff are used clothing or purses that people like you and I donate, however I've read stories about people finding Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and a lot of designer items for only a few dollars!

    2. Ohh wow, that sounds awesome!! I gotta check that out!

  3. Thats a great look! I like her posing
