Wow what a bargain! I wanted to share with you what a great deal I got at Walgreens. I purchased Sinful Colors Nail Polish for the very first time recently…and I plan on being a loyal customer from now on! These nail polishes normally run for $1.99 which is very cheap to begin with, however they were on sale for $.99. Now I didn’t know what to expect from these polishes being that they were priced so cheap, however they are GREAT and literally I have been obsessed with these polishes since I purchased them!
If you’re a bargain shopper like me, at times it’s hard to resist a good deal on a product, even if you don’t need it. You see all the signs BOGO FREE, or 50% off, or Limited Edition…etc, and it’s hard to resist buying it. As much as I love drugstore shopping, I’ve come across a few drugstore products over the years that I completely regret buying. The following products are items that I purchased at drugstores such as Walgreens, Wal-Mart, and Target, as well as discounted stores like Big Lots.
Just because you’re on a budget, doesn’t mean you have to compromise. What that means is that you can shop in department stores and purchase high end products at drugstore prices. The beauty of bargain shopping is that bargains are all over us, we just have to dig a little deeper to find them. Don’t get me wrong, I love shopping in drugstores like Walgreen's and CVS, and Target, the Dollar Tree, etc, but I don’t limit myself to just those stores.

My all time favorite lotion is Nivea Crème in the little blue tins, I absolutely cannot go a day without this creme. There are so many reasons why I love this crème, so I thought I would break it down for you all.

I love the consistency of this crème; it is not liquidly like a lot of other lotions out there. It has a thicker consistency when you are applying it, which makes it easier to see where you put the lotion, but it blends in very well with minimal effort. The bottom of my tin says made in
Mexico, but I’ve heard the original is from and their consistency is even thicker…I can’t really imagine how much thicker it can get… Germany
The crème can seen a bit greasy initially, but when rubbed it, it definitely blends in very well, and does not feel greasy on your hands or body. It is very moisturizing, it definitely makes my skin feel very smooth, almost baby-like!
To stay up to date current drugstore deals, I constantly check my local weekly ads, and sign up for emails to receive coupons, discounts, and notification of sales. Recently I received some great email notifications and thought I would share!
The first notification that caught my eye was an email from Payless shoe store. They always have BOGO ½ off their products which is great; however they currently have a sale going on, all Loveit Pumps are 50% off, regularly $27.99, now priced at $13.99. This is a really good deal for some stylish heels that can be worn with anything from slacks to jeans, to dresses.

I may be the last person on earth to have spotted this, but my go-to Target finally has put up the E.L.F cosmetics
I don’t know about you, but I love E.L.F products. They are very affordable since most of their single products are less than $3 bucks! I've tried out quiet a few of their products, and I want to share with you some of my favorites, and a few I don’t plan on purchasing again. For those of you who don’t know what E.L.F is, it is a cosmetics company that started off selling these very affordable products for $1 dollar each. Their products ranged with anything from single eye shadows, to eyeliners, face powder, etc. Now days the also have a “higher quality” studio line, and the prices are around $3 bucks each products. The also have great eye shadow palettes that go for about $10 dollars and up. I’ve been able to find these products at Target, K-mart, and Big Lots, and you can also purchase them on their site which is eyeslipsface.com.
As mentioned in the previous post, I have acne prone, oily, and sensitive skin, so I always have a hard time finding a face cleanser that actually won’t irritate my skin. I came across Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser a few months ago, and I definitely love this right now. It’s a cream cleanser which feels very soothing on my skin; it definitely feels like I am rubbing thick lotion on my face which might seem greasy but this product is oil free which doesn't clog pores. I like this product very much because it removes my makeup without having to using a makeup remover wipe ahead of time. I also feel that it is gentle enough on my sensitive skin, it has actually reduced the redness in my skin, and it has slowly helped clear up my acne, and on top of that it hasn't broken me out!

The product claims to be penetrating and refreshing, which is definitely something I notice every time I use it; it definitely feels like its going into my pores and cleaning out all the makeup and dirt out of it. The refreshing part is definitely straight on, when I rub in this cleanser it has a “cold” refreshing feeling to it, and once I wash it off my face feels so fresh, very soft, and very smooth. I will continue to use this product for as long as I can, I definitely go through a bottle every month, normally I use this once a day (at night time) on the weekdays and twice a day (morning/night) on the weekends. This product is so budget friendly, you can purchase this literally anywhere, Safeway, Target, Walgreens, Walmart, you name it, this product will be there. The price rages anywhere from $4.50-$6.00 depending where it is purchased.
I recommend this product to anyone out there; I believe its refreshing enough for dry to oily, to combination skin. I believe it is soothing enough for individuals with sensitive skin, yet strong enough to deep clean the dirt off your face! I also think everyone can benefit from this product especially since it removes makeup so well and without effort – that you will be saving a lot of money not buying makeup removing wipes!
As my first blog post, I really want to focus on a drugstore product that I am absolutely in love with and have adored for the past 3 years. This product is definitely a staple in my skin care routine especially because I have very sensitive acne prone skin, anytime I try something new my face will most definitely react, whether its with a pimple, redness, or a rash of some sort. I found that Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque really helps dry up acne, reduces redness on my face, makes blackheads appear less noticeable, and makes my skin feel super soft.

The actual product claims to help dry up acne pimples which is definitely what is does to my face. It also claims to rinse away blackheads and shrink enlarged pores; for my skin all it really does is make my pores and blackheads seems smaller not actually removing any. Overall, this masque is so soothing and almost feels “spa-like” which is great! You’re really only supposed to keep it on your face for 15 minutes, but at times I’ve left it on for longer and definitely feel that it works a lot better for my skin’s texture.
You can find this product at any drugstore such as Rite Aid, CVS, even Ulta and Sally’s Beauty; however I prefer to purchase mine at Walgreens, it is usually priced at $2.39 but at times they have a buy one get one free so you’re really getting this product dirt cheap!! This product lasts a very long time as well, my current bottle has been in my bathroom for over 6 months, and still have some left. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone – doesn’t matter of skin type or skin texture because it’s very soothing to the skin. However I definitely believe anyone who either has acne prone or oily skin can benefit from this product as it has helped me with my acne and my oily skin.
