Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Face Mask Review

Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Face Mask Pomegranate and Passion Fruit, is described by the manufacturer as a product that cleans, purifies and protects leaving your skin feeling fresh and radiant.”

I received this product free from Influenster’s Holiday VoxBox.
If you don't know what Influenster is, check out my previous post here explaining the site & process.

I received the Pomegranate and Passion Fruit but there are many varieties:
Cucumber Peel Off
Passion Pell Off
Dead Sea Mud
Fruit Smoothie
Strawbeery Souffle
Chocolate Mud
And many more

The directions state to cleanse your face, apply the mask, wait 15-20 minutes (let dry) then peel it off.  The product has a gel like consistency and surprisingly it wasn’t overly sticky as it was being applied on my face.  As it was drying it made my face feel very tight and stiff, which sort of feels like your pores are closing up and your face is having some sort of lift! Once the product was pealed off, my face felt very smooth and soft!

The product did smell exactly as it was supposed to: pomegranate & passion flower.  I liked how throughout the entire process the smell did linger, so it was very pleasant and sort of a relaxing process.  Even after washing my hands, and removing the mask, the soft scent did continue which is something that I enjoyed.

I would recommend this product for anyone who would like to try different skin care techniques.  I would definitely incorporate facial masks into my skin care routine to tighten my skin and to close up any pores, but also to smooth out and protect my skin.  This product comes in different versions, which fit the needs of a variety of different face types.  They retail for about $1.00 - $1.99 for 1 packet and are sold at drugstores such as CVS.

Here is some additional information from the manufacturer:
"Montagne Jeunesse beauty treats are free of parabens, vegetarian approved and never tested on animals. So treat yourself today to a masque that will hydrate, nourish and leave your skin cleansed, smooth and glowing. Available at ULTA Beauty, Walgreen’s, Claire’s, Walmart, Kroger, CVS Pharmacies and other retailers across the US, these masques are available in a variety of succulent flavours."

  4. I haven't tried any of these out yet! Thanks for the informative post!

  5. I LOVE this brand for face masks. Seriously awesome stuff!!

  6. You should try the Lady Soma brand "Antioxidant Berry Masque". It works great, smells great, is all organic and is about 4x cheaper than any other enzyme peel on the market (because it is half the price and twice the size).

It made a huge difference on my skin and I would recommend it to anyone who has acne or a dull, bumpy complexion. It does sting a bit, but it's supposed to do that and its not so bad. And afterward it feels great.

  7. I was allergic to that mask. I've never had a problem with any of their other products but the mask burned several layers of my skin off!!

    1. Hi nelherbie, my goodness sorry to hear that! Everyone's skin is so different and reacts a certain way towards certain products! I hope that your face has healed and that you have found products that are a little bit more gentle.
