I went to Macy's and Ross Dress for Less today, and I wanted to share what great bargains I was able to find. Macy's always has great sales, and even though some Macy's are very disorganized in the way they place their sale items, it's well worth it. My local Macy's is a MESS, none of the sizes are in any particular order and all their sale items are scrunched up into many racks and are very hard to find! However, I am a firm believer that nothing in life is "free" you have to work for it, therefore If you want to find a great deal you have to look for it. Having said that, I have no problem at all, searching and scavenging through racks and bins at Macy's in order to find the "good stuff."
At Macy's I scored 2 beautiful tank tops for such a great bargain. Normally you would think that since it will be winter season soon that you have to find "winter" clothes, however I usually love to wear tank tops on a yearly basis, since they can easily be topped off with a thick sweater, or a fashionable coat. I particularly love the detailing in these tank tops and I love the fact that the colors are very vibrant and very fun! Both these shirts are regularly priced at $27.99, I scored both shirts for $5 bucks each...can you believe it? The material in these shirts is so soft which makes them so comfortable to wear!
The next deal I scored was from Ross Dress for Less, I bought a super cute pink with white polka dots shirt. I love this shirt because it can be worn casually with jeans and sneakers, but it can also be dressed up with slacks and high heels. The material is also super soft which I love, however the only negative about this shirt is that the material is a bit thin and "almost" see through, so i will need to wear an undershirt, which I don't mind since it's getting colder out! This shirt retails at $24.99, Ross normally caries it for $7.99, but I got it today when they were having a super sale for only $3.99!!
I encourage everyone to treat shopping as a "scavenger hunt." You will not be able to score great deals, unless you are willing to stand in front of those bins, and look through racks after racks of clothing until you find what you are looking for. I am very curious to find out if anyone out there has scored any deals at major department stores lately...
